Craigslist South Padre Island

I just pleaded with them to give us our own Craigslist. Brownsville CL is nothing but fake ads and no participation. I singlehandedly brought it to Corpus and that's how I found my job here within 2 weeks of it being created. I think that could really advance the Island. It's actually all going to come together, I wanna become a better society.

Sandy Feet had a Craigslist for the Laguna Madre area but nothing happened, no traffic. That was maybe 2 years ago. I tried a few times but no calls or emails. Oh well.

I like the colors in his new avatar. The pirate skull was trippin' everyone out. The changing colors were giving people flashbacks. I had to coax JW off of a telephone pole. He thought he was up on a mast on a pirate ship. Lookin' for shore he was. With one eye. Through a telescope.

I did not succeed. The purple snakes got me.

Is it that Brownsville is too small to support a CraigsList (CL).
A Laguna Madre CL might include SPI, PI, LV and BRO and HRL.
Or a RGV CL would add greater McAllen.

This seems like an unfilled business opportunity.

Whatever it was it wasn't Craigslist. First create it then inform people of its benefits. That seems to be the nature of South Texas. Whatever let's just give up nobody cares about anything except preserving fields.

I got so pissed off at all the clutter in my house that I took the garbage can and threw out some tennis shoes, knowing they were still usable, but I was pissed. Then the next day I remember a conversation I had with a friend of mine who told me how they go to the dump in Matamoros once a month. She said, "They are really coming along now." (They were able now to transform tires into shoes.) Here I am throwing away 5 perfectly good pairs of shoes. Even the slippers would have been good for somebody. Anything is better than bare feet when you are walking around and on broken glass. I am such an idiot sometimes. I'll bet that if I collected stuff that people did not want but people could still use, then turn it over to that group of missionaries, that those poor people who are BEYOND poor could have some of their suffering relieved. Sometimes bad things or bad people happen to me and I get in a bad mood and am not grateful for what I have. I did that today. I let one person's loud ranting get to me and ruin my afternoon and evening. I could not find anything to make me feel better, that is how bad it was. (Those guys never returned my IV) Now, I look around and see how I live in luxury and those people have nothing. Makes me want to collect all I can for them. Maybe I will use this Craiglist thing, after all.

Will Davis, a long-time resident and SPI Forum member now in McAllen, has asked me to pass along his support for Craigslist. He thinks it is a wonderful idea and hopes to use it as well.
